Let’s be honest, we all saw this coming. The upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3 just had its release date confirmed by Nintendo, and it’s set to scare this Halloween, October 31.
Set in a haunted hotel, the title sees our ever-reluctant hero forced to rescue his missing friends. Players will also have the ability to play as, er, “Gooigi”, a Luigi clone made of, well, goo. From what footage we’ve seen so far, Gooigi will be vital to solving puzzles and navigating the labyrinthine hotel.
Luigi’s Mansion 3 was one of many games showcased during Nintendo’s E3 presentation. If you missed the event or need a refresher, you can check out our coverage here, complete with some post-show staff picks.
