Ubisoft will stop catering for the last generation consoles in 2015 due to high successive sales of next generation consoles, the company has revealed. In an interview with Game Informer, CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Huillemot said: “What we see is that this year is still fine for PS3 and 360, but next year because they are selling very quickly, we’ll move to new hardware.” This means that they will no longer be able to manufacture games for last gen consoles.
So it’s the summer time, the time to have BBQ’s and go to beer gardens getting as much of a tan as you possibly can. And you have to give it to the weather this year, it has been great! But we are all here because we like our games and while we are waiting for the new big releases to come out like The Elder Scrolls Online on consoles (if you don’t have a PC capable of playing it), Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, just to name a few, we need to do something to pass the time on any rainy days that may definitely come.
