In one dimension, a grief-stricken husband desperately pleads with the puppet. His wife passed away and he can't move her corpse to the burial grounds...
The Steam Summer Sale has reached it's tenth and final day. As a result, in the tradition of Steam, it's time for an encore...
Another June day, another Steam Sale. The past few days have been a little lackluster let's all be honest. Today though, today they've thrown...
There's just something about travelling at high-speed which most of us find exhilarating. Maybe its the fact it feels illegal. Maybe it's the fact you're pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Maybe it's just the adrenaline rush of knowing that within the next few minutes you'll either stand proud over your survival or scrubbed off the wall. Doing it in reality though is reserved for those of us with the money, time, or cojones to risk life and limb for a buzz. Lucky for us gamers that developers are more than happy to make up for our over-reliance on self-preservation. For 3DS owners, QubicGames have brought the act of skimming through the air with enough momentum to flip a wombat inside out with AiRace Xeno, the follow-up to last year's critically acclaimed AiRace Speed.
It's the weekend. A time we are all poked by assorted family members and acquaintances to step outside with bleary eyes for a little social interaction. Thankfully the Steam Summer Sale is here to help with a strong assortment of adventures. So for those of us out there who shun the searing touch of sunlight with the ferocity of a cat avoiding bath night, here's n3rdabl3's three top picks from the Steam Summer Sale Day 3.
Twitter users today (myself included) may have been greeted by a promoted tweet from Amazon.co.uk advertising their #AmazonBasket system. When it was first revealed...
The business of making, distributing and marketing games is vast. We all know this. It seems though that, at least in the US, this May has seen a greater level of spending on games than last year. During May the US market spent $586 million on physical hardware and software, a figure 52% higher than the $387 spent during the same period last year.
It's finally happened. The internet was finally given a shadowy glimpse of a dinosaur in the upcoming Jurassic world... literally. Co-writer and director Colin Trevorrow tweeted the image below earlier on the 18th of June which appears to show the silhouette of something angry and carnivorous, with the subtitle "Nights".
Last week when former God of War creative director Stig Asmussen joined Respawn Entertainment, the industry got word he would be working on something that wasn't Titanfall. Before that however, Titanfall received new maps in the Expedition DLC, and since the arrival of the Xbox One we've been hearing all about Titanfall and associating it, of course, with Respawn Entertainment. So, now, it isn't unreasonable to assume they are working primarily on the beginnings of Titanfall 2. The vast majority of the games press made the assumption.
When Microsoft unveiled Crackdown during their E3 2014 press conference the internet exploded, much like the buildings in the trailer, with such comments as "OMG CRACKDOWN 3". It's natural in the modern era of media to give sequels or prequels numerical subtitles; Wrong Turn 4 for example is actually a prequel - go figure. Ken Lobb himself, the creative director behind Crackdown even says "It's Crackdown" rather than Crackdown 3.
Atsuo Yoshimura isn't exactly a household name but the recent title for which he acts as producer, Dark Souls 2, is. The release has seen roaring success as of late both for its own merits and the reputation of it's predecessor; a success which has given rise to a public desire for the latest entry to hit next gen consoles. During an interview with OXM at E3, Atsuo gave a hint that this desire could become a reality.
Minecraft saw unprecedented success during the seventh console generation with versions arriving on PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and even Android (because what's better than tunneling through mud while on the porcelain throne). With the release of Minecraft on PS4 making its way ever close, Owen of Mojang revealed on the PlayStation Blog that the PS4 version will make full use of the Dualshock 4's touchpad.
As a purchaser of Battlefield 4 along with the expensive premium service on PC and Xbox One, I already feel like an Early Access player. After eight months and a fairly substantial sum of money, the same problems still arise on both versions of the title. Not that is is entirely surprising after the desperately poor launch of Battlefield 3. One would assume EA and DICE would learnt from the legendarily poor launch of the series' third installment. As is so often the case though, the expectation we all have that humanity has the capacity to learn from its previous mistakes is left battered and bruised - usually on a loading screen.
Ever since the advent of electricity and the on switch, people who believe in the supernatural have reported ghosts turning on their TVs and other appliances. While this train of thought may utterly confuse those of us gifted with common sense, there are people who believe a spiritual entity trapped in eternal purgatory would rather fiddle with the remote than throw heavy objects around. Some Xbox One owners have been experiencing ghostly occurrences in recent days though as their Xbox One systems are powered up; but by Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul.
Berlin-based Yager have been a little quiet since releasing the surprisingly harrowing Spec Ops: The Line. During E3 2014 their latest work literally jumped...
