Tiki Monkeys Review (Android)

The humble Endless Runner genre has been given multiple face lifts but ultimately they're the same game. Whether you're swiping Sonic from left to right to avoid spikes, tilting Nathan Drake to collect bottles of Coke Zero, or flicking Guy Dangerous over logs, you're still getting the same experience but with a different character. So when I read about the release of Tiki Monkeys and how Milk Cap have created a game that is a "fresh take on the runner genre, adding action and strategy elements" I wanted to find out more.
Neon Salad Grind

OlliOlli Review

Take an Excitebike cartridge, blend it with a copy of Tony Hawks Pro Skater and a zip disk containing Elasto Mania and what do you get. The least appetising smoothie ever - unless you're into eating 20-year-old grey plastic mixed with sharp shards of CD. Take each of these games then combine their best elements with the code chefs at Roll7 however, and you're gifted with one of the PS Vita's most impressive indie titles to date. A tasty morsel of OlliOlli.
Age of Zombies Screen 3

Age of Zombies PS Vita review

Zombies. SO MANY ZOMBIES. Within the first few minutes of gameplay I was feeling a little overwhelmed...well, a lot overwhelmed.
Nidhogg 2014-01-22 14-40-30-71

Nidhogg Review

Nidhogg has been a long time coming. This game has won numerous awards from various gaming expos and was only really available to play outside said expos in Winnitron game cabinets. So finally when Messhof announced that Nidhogg will be coming to Steam, retro gamers alike collectively squealed like a gaggle of One Direction fans, but was it worth the wait?

Spellforce 2: Demons of the Past Review

Let's be clear, this is branded as a standalone expansion to the series but I highly recommend that if you want to get the most out of Demons of the Past, that you purchase a copy of Spellforce 2 Gold and Faith in Destiny beforehand. I say this as an opener because the story and gameplay will confuse or at least have you pausing to rifle through a wiki to find out what the hell is going on.
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z Review

KAMEHAMEHA!! Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is the latest instalment into the Dragon Ball video game franchise from Namco Bandai which features huge battles set within huge battlefields. Dragon Ball has always been a love of mine ever since the show appeared on Cartoon Network in the early 2000's and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z focuses on the DBZ franchise and features some of the most iconic battles in the series which brings with it some fantastic nostalgia and a must-have for any Dragon Ball fan.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes Review.

Anybody who has played a LEGO video game will know exactly what to expect. They're fun to play and give a LEGO twist on some of peoples most beloved franchises. LEGO Marvel Superheroes is no different to previous games only this time it's huge! I've played every single LEGO game apart from the LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, which I know is where Marvel Superheroes was born from...

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed for iOS Review

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is one of my favourite titles on PC. In fact last summer myself and Hayley spent most of our time trying to complete the World Tour together. So when I heard that SEGA were planning to release the game onto iOS, I jumped at the chance to grab the title that features so many of my favourite SEGA characters, but did it match my expectations? Or does the transformation from PC/Console to Mobile cause it to sink?

Need for Speed: Rivals Review

Need For Speed: Rivals is the latest instalment into the Need for Speed franchise hoping to offer a more two-sided affair to the once racer focused title. Choose to be a racer, or stick with the good guy and become a cop, and that's not the only choice you get to make. Rivals is a gorgeous open-world affair filled with gorgeous mountainside forests, cold snowy peaks, and harsh dry deserts, environments alone, does the freedom to do what you want how you want change the way the game is played for the better or are things better left the way they were?

Gran Turismo 6 Review.

The Gran Turismo series has been gracing it’s presences on three generations of Sony consoles for 15 years and what better way to celebrate than to release a brand new iteration of the game in the form of Gran Turismo 6. The series has always been an acquired taste for audiences as it's mostly for the car enthusiasts who know what they are doing with cars and have an understanding of how they work, that being said, I'm not a car person but I found a lot of enjoyment out of this title because it was not as overwhelming as Gran Turismo 5.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood Review.

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is still a fairly new game available on the Xbox One, released December 2013 it is categorised as a 2.5D side scrolling platformer. Simply put though, it's a really fun game...

The Walking Dead Season 2 Episode 1 – All That Remains...

The worst of it all being that she seemed right at home. No place to go, but nowhere to be...
forza 5 featured

Forza Motorsport 5 Review

Very few can resist the dense yet tangy taste on the tongue of burnt rubber and engine oil. Dissonant yet orchestral tones blazing from screaming vehicles as they race toward the distant horizon. The crunch of metal deforming metal in high-speed collisions and duels for position as the apex predator on each track. Epic tussles between gods wrought of steel and fibreglass rage across the world upon the battlefields. The battlefields of Forza Motorsport 5. Can Turn 10 bring us speed freaks the magical mixture of simulation and arcade gameplay we've all come to know and love in the Forza series?

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Review.

Earlier this year a little fighting game graced it's presence on the Xbox 360 and PS3, now said fighting has a Ultimate Edition which includes all the DLC characters, 60 new challenges, and brand new skins, what's more, if you purchase the game on the PS3 you'll also get a voucher giving you the chance to get the PS4 version for a discount price.

Killzone: Shadow Fall – Multiplayer Review

If, like me as a child, played British Bulldogs, you'll know that rising feeling of both dread and elation as your team squares up to a line of mouth-breathing, neanderthal skulled miscreants. The adrenaline kicks in and the battle-cries fill the air as you rush headlong into the unknown, waiting for a lucky break or to be more honest, hoping not to break anything.

This is the feeling you get when you wait for the spawn timer to count down at the beginning of a Killzone multiplayer match. It's one big race to reach the objective on the map, set up tactical resources and try your hardest to survive while a tidal wave of randoms pour over your squad and try to jockey for position.
