This weekend Coffee Stain Studios, the developer behind Goat Simulator, announced Puppet Fever, the company's first dive into Virtual Reality (VR).
For a game that began life as a buggy mess-filled game jam game, Coffee Stain Studios have certainly milked that goat dry and show no signs of stopping as our little goat friend is about to head to space.
Goat Simulator is getting another bout of DLC, this time in the form of a space mission... sort of.

Have you been playing your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 console and just had an empty feeling? Has there been a goat-shaped hole that just needs filling but no matter how much you hope to find a goat in The Last of Us, it's just not the same? Well there's good news, as Coffee Stain Studios is bringing Goat Simulator to PlayStation consoles next month!
Coffee Stain Studios is once again offering a video game parody with a goaty twist. It began with a Goat MMO, now we've got a zombie survival title. When will it ever stop? The latest content pack for Goat Simulator adds zombies, crafting, and the same snort-inducing buggy gameplay you've come to expect and love with Coffee Stain's happy accident. GoatZ is an insane mashup of both genres and y'know what, it might just work.. maybe.
The studio behind Goat Simulator has submitted a Goat Sim-inspired courier for consideration in the popular free-to-play MOBA game, DOTA 2. Currently awaiting votes in the DOTA 2 workshop, Coffee Stain Studios want you to but the BAHH in.. DOTA 2.. that doesn't work, does it? *sigh*
If you've been wondering what's missing from your Xbox, it probably isn't the ability to simulate a goat and cause chaos around a virtual town, licking and butting people across the map. If for some bizarre reason that's something you've been craving, then you've got just one month to wait until Goat Simulator lands on Xbox One and Xbox 360.
For those of you who've played Goat Simulator, you'll likely be aware of all of the various secrets and gaming-related Easter eggs found amongst the games world, and the latest of which is a nod to the infamous cow level which was first discovered in Blizzard's Diablo. In Goat Simulator's new MMO patch, this cow level has of course been taken to the extreme and sees the player being hounded by gangs of cows with lasers. Lovely.
We've been asking for it for some time now and finally its coming! In a free update coming soon to Goat Simulator, players will be thrown into a massively multiplayer online game in a similar vein as World of Warcraft, except you don't play as a valiant warrior with a noble history of slaying demons, you of course play as a goat..
I'm sorry for the pun, but I can't help it, it's just so (goat) cheesy, I just had to do it. Anyway, these puns are starting to get my goat, so onto the news!
Yep, you head that right, the game that was never supposed to be a game but then became a game, is coming to mobile. Will it work? Probably not. Will it be hilarious? Definitely. At least, I hope it will, I mean think about it, you'll be on the bus to work, running around a virtual world as a goat.. Sure you'd look weird, but cool weird. Right?
Last month Coffee Stain Studios celebrated the retail release of Goat Simulator, their ridiculous game-jam experiment that became a real game after the internet went wild, here in the UK. Now it seems that North American's will be able to get a goat in a box too now they've signed a deal with Deep Silver to bring the retail version of the game to the US!
If you thought Goat Simulator couldn't become any more funnier, the latest patch notes from Coffee Stain Studios for the 1.1 update have absolutely cracked me up! The update, which brings with it a brand new map, local multiplayer, as well as an array of new items for your favourite goat to play with, launched on on June 3 and is absolutely free!
Coffee Stain Studios has finally revealed the release date for the huge 1.1 Patch for their hilariously stupid Goat Simulator, which is set to bring with it a brand new map to gallivant around and local multiplayer so you and a friend can cause mayhem together. Perhaps that'll help make the game feel less lonely.
