For those of you in the UK who updated to iOS 9 on their iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, you might have realised one of the OS' biggest features is missing: Apple News. But there's a way you can get it, if you'd prefer to change the way you type.
Another quarter, another financial report from Apple and once again the Cupertino company is reporting another fantastic quarter with positive growth from iPhones. Though it's staying surprisingly quiet about the Apple Watch.
When Phones 4U first announced that they were going into administration due to network partners EE and Vodafone refusing to renew their contracts with the company, I felt a little bad for what was one of my favourite phone stores. The news came just days after pre-orders for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus opened and the company honestly admitted that they wouldn't be able to honour the pre-orders and a refund will be on its way to those who did. Unfortunately things have taken a bit of a dark turn as Phones 4U are now refusing to refund iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus pre-orders..
Unbox Therapy is at it again, this time giving the bend test to the iPhone 6, the standard handset that was announced alongside the iPhone 6 Plus. Following reports of peoples iPhone 6 Plus devices bending in their pockets, Unbox Therapy decided to put it to the test and the results were less than pleasant. In an attempt to see whether the other iPhone, the iPhone 6 suffered the same fate, they decided to give that device the bend test too along with four other devices from HTC, Motorola, and Nokia, as well as the iPhone 5S.
Just a few days after release, the iPhone 6's first problem is coming to light. Users are reporting that the phone bends in their pockets and Apple has yet to make an official comment. Twitter users have already given the "disaster" the hashtag "#bendgate", presumably to indicate that to Apple fans, this is as serious as international law being broken or phone hacking.
Apple have announced that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have sold over 10 million units within the first three days of being on the market. The company says that they could have sold more as well if more supplies had been available.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus has only been on sale for a few days but already some are splashing the cash on...
Sometimes size doesn't matter. For example when a leading phone manufacturer brings out a two new phones at the same time and are exactly the same except one is bigger than the other OR on is smaller than the other. Yes, I'm talking about Apple and yes I'm talking about the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus...
Excitable Aussie Jack Cooksey was one of the first today to get his hands on a shiny new iPhone 6 so naturally it was a good time for Australian news show Perth News to try and get an interview with the lucky fella and see how he feels about his new iPhone. Unfortunately the excitement and pressure of being on live TV got the better of Cooksey as his shiny new iPhone has a date with concrete.
Did you pre-order an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus from Phones 4U last weekend? If so then you probably discovered this week that the company had entered administration protection and subsequently cancelled all iPhone 6 and 6 Plus pre-orders. But don't tear your receipt up in anger just yet as EE, the company that essentially pushed Phones 4U into administration, are offering you the chance to still get your iPhone.
Apple finally joined the long list of Android phones with NFC in the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. However, it could be a while before we can use it outside of Apple Pay.
Following the launch of Pre-orders for the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, Apple have released some details as to how well both iPhones sold over the weekend and let me tell you, they're doing pretty well. Apple has announced that the iPhone 6 had sold a whopping 4 million times in a 24-hour period despite some users having trouble actually getting the pre-order pages to work. This sets a brand new record for Apple as the iPhone 5 sold 2 million in 2012
If you were one of the many customers who headed to Phones 4U last week in order to pre-order yourself one of the most hotly anticipated iPhone's to date, you may not be too happy to hear that the pre-order you made at Phones 4U has been cancelled. This news follows that of the company entering administration protection after both Vodafone, then EE, revealing that they won't be renewing partnership contracts with the company leaving Phones 4U with no carriers to work with.
It comes as no surprise really, but Apple has today announced the next generation iPhone, or should I say, the next generation iPhones, as they lifted the lid off of two brand new iPhones which are set to launch on September 19. The two devices though look the same, are fairly different as one boasts a pretty standard 4.7-inch display, and the other a whopping 5.5-inch display. Under the hood there's a whole new chip which Apple claim will not only be faster than its predecessors, but also improve battery life.
Today Tim Cook took to the stage at their press event this evening to announce the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus which we can be pleased to report are due to be released next Friday, Sept 19 in the States, with both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus available to pre-order on the 12th.
