We all know that having your app in the number one spot in the App Store is not only an achievement in itself, but it can also begin the snowball effect of more downloads and more ad revenue coming into your bank account. One notable example is Flappy Bird, which during its hayday was earning its developer around $50,000 a day. So it comes as no surprise that there are certain individuals offering ways to get your app to the top spot, and if this latest image is anything to go by, it's not just done by bots.
Over the weekend, popular photo sharing service revealed some interesting data showing off the top five overall camera brands on its service. The reason this data is interesting is because not every brand in this list actually makes cameras. According to the data Apple has overtaken Nikon as the second most popular camera brand on Flickr suggesting that iPhone-ography is becoming more and more popular as smartphone cameras get better and better.
With the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, Apple finally increased the screen size so they were on par with rival Android phones. However, we could see a smaller, lower end version next year.

iPhones are pretty sought after device by many due to their popularity and unfathomable high value which makes these expensive lumps of metal and glass that we all cradle around every day the ideal target for sticky fingered thieves. Usually these crooks hop onto websites like Craigslist, Gumtree, and eBay to try and make a quick buck with their newly acquired tech and some poor sod who decides to purchase the device could be left with a completely useless device if the original owner decided to lock the device leaving you with a hunk of metal and glass with practically no value.

A few days ago more leaked images of celebrities in the buff appeared online under the moniker 'The Fappening 3,' which include pictures of model of Cara Delevigne and actress Anna Kendrick, which has further reinforced Apple and Google's push to encrypt data in their upcoming versions of their mobile operating systems. Great news for everyone else, bad news for the FBI, and they're not happy about it at all.
Following Apple's iPhone event earlier this week I read reports that some users were finding U2's latest album, "Songs of Innocence", randomly added to their iTunes library whether they were a fan of the band or not. It turns out, U2 and Apple have banded together for the latest iPhone reveal and are hoping to get U2's latest LP "the biggest music release in history," what they failed to tell you was that whether you wanted the album or not, you'll be getting it anyway. Thanks Apple.
iOS 8 will be available to download on current Apple iPhones and iPads on September 17 as well as coming pre-installed on the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus when they launch on September 19.
As one iPhone user on reddit points out, Siri needs an upgrade. Microsoft's Cortana (on the low end Lumia 635, which retails at around £100) is shown tackling relatively complex voice commands while Siri on an iPhone 5s (not a cheap phone) apparently sits by unable to comprehend the command.
We all know the iPhone 6 will be announced by Apple at some point this year but we're yet to know what it'll look like or what it'll have inside. Various leaks over the past few months have hinted at a more rounded design similar to the iPad Air and iPad Mini, as well as word that the power button will make the move from the top of the device to the side. The latest pictures of the device come from Sonny Dickinson, who accurately leaked photo's of the iPhone 5S last year, and give us a closer idea of what the next iPhone will look like.
