Konami is doing a damn fine job of keeping fans of the Metal Gear franchise pissed off. First they essentially booted creator Hideo Kojima from the franchise, then released a new Metal Gear game that really has nothing to do with Metal Gear, and now they're saying that they have no plans to complete development on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain's 'missing' Mission 51.
It looks like there may be world-wide nuclear disarmament soon, and sadly I'm not talking about in real life. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain players are being instructed to disarm their nuclear weapons in order to unlock a hidden cutscene, and it's actually working.
Konami has revealed that they've shipped a total of five million copies of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, which seems impressive enough, but is it enough for the company to continue production on the series or even on other AAA video games altogether?
With the news that Metal Gear Online would be delayed slightly, that day has finally come and the Metal Gear Online servers are live on consoles. Sure, PC players have to wait until 2016, but for console players you can begin Fultoning players out of the map!
Konami is the company that just keeps making waves with every new turn they make. They rumour mill has started up again, this time reports say that Konami will be ceasing to make all triple-A titles apart from the PES series.

Hideo Kojima has released a new video titled "Debriefing" which acts as a "thank you" to the fans and people who worked on Metal Gear Solid V and the series as a whole.
It's a big moment for Hideo Kojima today as the final trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has arrived, marking the last time he'll be working on a Metal Gear title.
Konami has some good news and some bad news for fans of Metal Gear Solid. For those who play on PC and aren't happy to wait a little longer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, then there's good news, the release for the PC version has been brought forward. The bad news however, Metal Gear Online has been delayed, and for some, it won't come until 2016.
In the never-ending and increasingly-confusing saga that is Hideo Kojima and Konami's possible beef that no one will confirm or deny, but seems to be evidenced all over the place is this latest update.
Following on from the E3 trailer and the gameplay footage that was shown, which was awesome, we now have a new 30 minute piece of footage to enjoy.
Directed and edited by Hideo Kojima himself the newest trailer shown today for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain stands above all the rest. The voice over, which seems to be from the character of Skull Face, explains a great deal into the themes of the game. Additionally through out the trailer a number of small quotes appear on screen and really set the mood and tone for both the trailer and the game.
The console is a limited edition deep red with gold line detail, inspired by the look of Big Bosses Bionic Arm within the game. To go with this the included DualShock 4 Wireless Controller has been given a special metallic grey to resemble the handgun held by Big Boss.
