Today during Gamescom 2015 Konami and Kojima Productions released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain ahead of its release next month.

For those who don't know, Metal Gear Solid Online is exactly what you might think it is, it's a version of the game that allows players to go online and play against other players in a series of different game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Stealth Deathmatch, and Capture Mission. It was first introduced in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and was also released as a standalone game for Japan. Recent titles have missed out on Metal Gear Solid Online, but according to a tweet from Geoff Keighly, it's set to make its return.
A few months ago Konami gave the greenlight for a group of fans to re-make the original Metal Gear Solid title which originally released in 1987, things started to go well and developers The Outer Heaven even managed to get David Hayter to lend his voice to the project.
