Gamers Aren’t Happy About Metro Redux Pricing, 4A Games Suggests “Vote...

Metro Redux is a jam packed re-release of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light which includes an overhaul of both games' graphics, as well as all of the games DLC included in one lovely wrapped package. But for some reason some gamers aren't too over the moon with the price and have suggested that the game should be launched for free for those who already own the title - a little rude if you ask me. But alas, it seems an already generous 50% off for some isn't enough and continue to complain.

Metro Redux Release Date Announced, Coming This August.

Deep Silver has confirmed the release date for the upcoming Metro bundle, Metro Redux, which brings both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light onto the latest-generation consoles complete with improved graphics and mechanics. The remastered bundle will be landing in stores August 26 in the US, and August 29 in Europe.

Deep Silver Aims to Keep the Metro Franchise Alive.

After acquiring the Metro IP from THQ for $5.9 million in January this year, Deep Silver almost immediately started work to finish the Metro: Last Light game in time for it's May release. Unsure what's going to happen with the franchise, Deep Silver have confirmed that they'll "absolutely continue with that brand" and hope to make it "more accessible for a broader gamer audience."
