NVIDIA has today unveiled the new Shield console, and this time it's not another portable number, instead it's a $300 Android TV box that can play games at 4K resolution. The set-top box was announced during NVIDIA's press conference at GDC this morning and will be powered by NVIDIA's Tegra X1 processor, and uses Google's Android OS and the new Android TV platform to not only offer a better-than-cable service, but also to allow video game streaming from NVIDIA's new Grid+ service.
