That's right, this weekend saw Twitch Plays Pokémon reach the end of Pokémon X, the latest title in the Pokémon series before Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launches this November which means that Twitch Plays Pokémon has successfully (I use that term loosely) completed every single currently available generation of Pokémon, and in turn it's racked up some pretty impressive statistics.
By Fancy Pants, I meant Fancy Pattern, it's an accidental typo that's I'm going to run with. So if you were looking forward to getting your hands, or Pokéballs on the Fancy Pants Vivillon that The Pokémon Company unveiled in May, you'll be pleased to know that the huge 100 million Global Trade Center target has been met, and the Fancy Pants Vivillon is on its way.
The Pokémon Company have announced that the distribution of a 'Fancy Pattern Vivillon' will happen as soon as a new Global Trade Station miletone is reached. Sitting at around 90 million trades, as soon as the counter hits 100 million the Pokémon Company will release a brand new variant of Vivillon to mark the occasion.

Back through the mists of time in 1996 a game series came to the Nintendo Gameboy that changed the gaming environment for millions of people. No matter who you were you could play and enjoy Pokémon. It has brought people together the world over and continues to do so to this day. With additions to the franchise including a successful and long running TV series, the epitomy of playground trading card games combined with heavy merchandising capitalised upon this obsession. For the past 16 years this hasn't changed and neither has the game in its essence. Top down movement and levelling monsters should be showing its age but instead is more popular than ever. Now X and Y brings the 7th generation of Pokémon and this time, something's very different.
Some Pokémon X and Y players are experiencing a new bug and not one they can catch with a mega ball. This bug has been reported to happen when you save your game in a certain part of the Kalos Region which causes the game to freeze.
The UK gaming charts have taken an interesting turn this week. Last week we saw the release of Beyond: Two Souls and a few days later over the weekend we saw the release of Pokémon X and Y, both of which are blockbuster titles which, instead of kicking FIFA 14 or Grand Theft Auto V down a spot or two, we saw Grand Theft Auto 5 enter first place.
Last month, it was made public that one of the most renowned Pokémon in Game Freak/Creatures Inc's globally acclaimed video game series, Charizard, would be in line to obtain a further Mega Evolution in the newest additions to the franchise, the upcoming and highly anticipated Pokémon X & Y; an extraordinarily powerful form, limited to only a few selected Pokémon.
