Project X Zone 2 is an odd one. It's a game which blends tactical turn-based gameplay with side-scrolling fighting, which if that didn't stray from the norm enough for you, also brings characters together from different series' by Bandai Namco, SEGA, Capcom, and for the first time in the series, Nintendo. And while games like Super Smash Bros. can succeed with a blend of characters from different series, can Project X Zone 2?
Project X Zone 2, much like the original, is getting a demo which will give players a taste of the action before the game launches in February.
In an influx of news just before Christmas, Bandai Namco has announced a number of titles are coming to the west. In amongst those announcements however, was the news that the EU release date for Project X Zone 2 will be coming a week earlier!

After Bandai Namco announced that the release of Project X Zone 2: Brave New World would be delayed in the west until 2016, we had little ideas to when, but now at the Tokyo Game Show, the publisher has revealed that it'll be launching in the West this February.
Bandai Namco has today unveiled a handful of new characters coming to Project X Zone 2, the sequel to the title which first smashed SEGA, Bandai Namco, and Capcom characters all together in a turn-based brawler for the Nintendo 3DS.
With Japan Expo in full swing, new trailers and information about some upcoming Japanese titles are being released left, right, and center. Unfortunately one of these pieces of information is a little saddening. The European release of Project X Zone 2 is being delayed until 2016.
Project X Zone 2 is coming to 3DS, bringing its character crossover, turn-based action to the masses once again. Featuring characters from SEGA, Bandai Namco, and Capcom IP's the latest trailer reveals some gameplay, and some additional characters have also been announced, Felicia, Valkyrie, and Ulala.
Project X Zone 2 is the sequel to the insanely popular tactical RPG title which merged characters from franchises owned by SEGA, Capcom, and Bandai Namco. We've had a brief taste as to who'll be appearing in this instalment, but today Bandai Namco confirmed the first batch of characters from all three publishers you'll be able to play with in the game.
Project X Zone was one of the first demos I downloaded for my Nintendo 3DS. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was a pretty enjoyable experience with some recognisable characters. Now there's a sequel coming and this time I'm likely going to try more than the demo.. Project X Zone 2 Brave New World as it'll be called in Japan is set to bring more titles from the three publishers including characters from Resident Evil, Yakuza, Sakura Wars, Devil May Cry, Virtua Fighter, Mega Man X, and more.
