Following the disappointment that was Carmageddon: Reincarnation on PC, Stainless Games are back once again with another new Carmageddon title, this time one for current-gen consoles. Though, it's not quite new, more a re-skinned version of the Kickstarter success. However, does it perform better than the PC Reincarnation, or should the past be left in the past.

Stainless Games has today announced that a brand new Carmageddon game is incoming in the form of Carmageddon: Max Damage, which is due for release later this year for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Stainless Games announced the news in a press release yesterday saying that they're "pushing that date out by what is technically referred to as 'a tad'."
Carmageddon Reincarnation has been in Early Access for some time now, and while the game has seen a considerable number of updates, we've been none the wiser as to when the game was set to release. Well over a year ago now I briefly mentioned Sainless Games Kickstarter campaign for Carmageddon: Reincarnation a reboot of their classic mental car racing game from the mid 90's Carmageddon.
