Bethesda have revealed a brand new trailer for the Tokyo Game Show, which is currently under way, which shows off brand new footage of the game which is set for release on October 14 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Bethesda have announced the voice cast of The Evil Within and there are some great names involved. Jackie Earle Haley who took on the iconic role of Freddy Kruger in the recent Nightmare on Elm Street remake will be voicing the the main antagonist of the game, Ruvik. Ruvik will appear at random point through out the game, player will have to flee as they will stand no chance against his ghostly presence.
Tango Gameworks have released a 'Completionist Guide' for their upcoming horror survival game, The Evil Within. While most of the achievements revolve around kills with certain weapons and completing the game on different difficulty levels. Some missions will have special challenges for players to complete so if you don't want spoilers don't check out the image below.

You read that right. Bethesda have announced that QuakeCon attendees that donate blood to the American Red Cross will leave with a The Evil Within "chill pack". The Elder Scrolls and Fallout developers posted on their blog saying that, "Bethesda Softworks and the American Red Cross are partnering to host “The Good Within Blood Drive” during QuakeCon 2014"
Sony have released a new video showing of The Evil Within at the E3 PlayStation booth. Pete Hines from Bethesda Softworks answers a lot of questions that fans of Shinji Mikami might have about his return to the survival horror genre. Hines also talks about the importances of the sound design in the game to help increase tension and immersion.

The Evil Within is quickly garnering a fan base of survival horror followers, desperate for something new or possibly something that tips it's hat to the older model of the genre, when the games were about actually surviving in a terrifying situation.
Well, maybe not yours, someone with a disturbed mind's dreams perhaps. These atmospheric concepts have hit the internet and it looks like Shinji Mikami's new take on survival horror will be a twisted journey through some highly creepy environs.
