A brand new Xbox One bundle has been revealed, one that'll bag you a black Xbox One and controller with a copy of The Witcher 3: Wilnd Hunt to play on it. The bundle is the first to come this side of the new Xbox One price point that Microsoft announced earlier this week.
Last week CD Projekt RED revealed that two major expansions will be coming to the game, but didn't reveal exactly how much. Instead they detailed what you'll be getting in each expansion and how long it'll likely take for you to play. Now however a bunch if listings have gone live for the DLC and it seems that those who want them both, can purchase The Witcher 3 Expansion Pass for $25.
Whether you're new to The Witcher series, or you've been on the edge of your sear waiting for its release, this trailer will likely fill you with enough Witcher goodness than you can shake a stick at. There's tapestries, epic music, evaporating bras, glorious landscapes, and a foul mouthed dwarf. What's not to love?
While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is expected to last some people well over 200 hours, if you have little time on your hands and want to experience the bare bones of the game, you can complete it in just 25 hours. Speaking with GameReactor this week, developers CD Projekt RED unveiled that testers took around 25 hours to complete the story.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be getting two massive expansions following the game's release adding an estimated 30 hours to the game, which according to the developer could last some people over 200 hours. The two expansions, titled Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, are expected to add additional quests to the game to keep players occupied sending Geralt on a series of new adventures.
If you can't quite wait to get your hands on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, then you can play the game in spirit as IGN has this week uploaded a new First showing off the first fifteen minutes of the game. It is of course without the opening cinematic and dives right into gameplay, because that's what you're looking for, right?
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set to be the concluding chapter in the Witcher trilogy, so it's likely that fans of the series will want to stay in the world of The Witcher. Thankfully in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt you'll have a lot to do, and if you tried to do all of them it could take you over 200 hours to complete.
I've seen games become more and more realistic over time, but dynamic beard growth? That's a little too much attention to detail, right? Either way, according to German magazine Gamestar, who recently published an in-depth profile on the game with lots of tasty morsels of information, in amongst the news about difficulty levels, the cities you'll be visiting, and cut-scenes, there was one snippet of information that was almost overlooked: "Geralt's beard will grow over time."
Previously CD Projekt RED revealed that they had no plans to remaster any of the previous Witcher titles, but now at PAX East, the developer revealed that they have considered doing so, but decided to foxus on current projects, including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Although The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt has been delayed (again) until May, we're still getting a decent helping of images and footage from the developers, CD Projekt Red, the latest being a brand new gameplay trailer which was unveiled at PAX East this weekend.
A few years back, the thought of downloading or installing something that was 50 GB really wasn't worth the hassle, unfortunately nowadays that file size has become ubiquitous with new releases on current-gen consoles, and as annoying as it is, there's nothing we can do to stop it. So if you plan on getting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PlayStation 4, and likely Xbox One too, be prepared to clear 50GB of space for the massive open world title.
